Mount Damavand

Damavand is the highest peak in Iran and the Midle East, and is still potentially active. Mount Damavand, the highest volcanic mountain in Asia, is located in the north of Iran in Mazanaran Province, 66 kilometers northeast of Tehran. Damavand is well-known in the world and the second most popular peak in Asia.
